Initial Consultation Agreement

I have read and consent to the Initial Consultation Agreement as follows: this Initial Consultation Agreement is between Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (The “RCIC”) Malachi Nkanyo of Temboh Immigration Inc. membership number R708103 and the Client. Please be advised that Malachi Nkanyo is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. The Client is obliged to pay the initial consultation fee for their consultation online or by phone.

I understand that this fee is non-refundable for any reason and that the consultation is comprised of one session only whether or not I choose to use the full time I booked for my consultation. I also understand that this consultation is for assessment and/or advice only and is not an agreement for services.

I have read the Cancellation and Refund Policy at the link and agree to its terms: https://tembohimmigration.ca/cancellation-and-refund-policy/

I understand that this is an initial consultation only and it does not authorize the RCIC to act as your Authorized Representative on any Expression of Interest or Application with any governmental body in Canada. Separate government forms and retainer agreement(s) are required for the RCIC to act as your Authorized Representative.

The initial consultation fee paid by the Client can be used as payment (“credit”) to the Immigration case that the RCIC will open depending on the results of this consultation. The US dollars will be converted into Canadian dollars at the exchange rate published by the Bank of Canada at the time the payment is received and will be applied toward the credit. The credit is valid only for the Immigration case that the RCIC will recommend and up to seven (7) calendar days only after the date of consultation. Meaning, the client needs to make a decision and sign a Retainer Agreement within that 7 days for the credit to remain valid.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Nova Scotia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Applicable GST/HST will be added to in-Canada orders.

Force Majeure:

We reserve the right to reschedule a consultation due to circumstances beyond our control such as natural disasters, including power outages, that may lead to a temporary loss of internet service.

Confidentiality:

The Client agrees to the use of electronic communication and storage of confidential information.

The RCIC will use its best efforts to maintain a high degree of security for electronic communication and information storage.

Limitation of Liability:

Release of Liability Due to Electronic Method

The RCIC is not responsible for any online breaches of information or anything related to any online system or communication whatsoever.

Disclaimer: We reserve the right to limit the topics discussed during the initial consultation if the questions are deemed to require an excessive amount of research.  A retainer agreement may be required to address complex matters
