ATLANTIC IMMIGRATION PROGRAM

Atlantic Immigration Program

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program was launched in 2017 as part of a joint initiative to stimulate economic growth in Canada’s Atlantic provinces by attracting skilled workers. The Atlantic provinces include New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
The pilot focuses on helping Canadian employers in the Atlantic region find employees to fill job vacancies when no suitable candidates can be found locally. To qualify for the program, applicants must have an official job offer. Usually, in order to obtain a Canadian job, offer valid for immigration purposes, the applicant must obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This is not required for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. Instead, the job offer must be from a designated employer.

(AIPP) Program

There are three sub-categories of AIPP:

  • Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program

  • Atlantic High-Skilled Program

  • Atlantic International Graduate Program

"We truly do make immigration Easy ! And we intend to keep it that way."

The employers are required to be designated before they can make a job offer and hire a candidate under AIPP.
